The planet is changing every day. Being dependent on international trade can be debilitating for growing businesses in Canada. I am pledging to buy Canadian as much as possible to support our local Canadian producers and manufacturers.
By sharing these successful searches and research with you, I am making it easier for all of patriots across the country. It is a laborious process but I am fortunate enough to have the resources and the time to spend to creating a full and fiercely Canadian experience on this website.
It is not enough for this site that the products are sold by Canadians or are an affiliate of an international company. The product producers must be owned by Canadians, operated in Canada and produced in Canada.
I realize that some ingredients are not available in Canada, however as long as the product is manufactured or produced here and the materials are acquired through fair trade and ethical processes, it is acceptable. For example, many spices can not be grown in Canada which makes it necessary for Canadian spice products to outsource for the ingredients required for their in house blends. We simply need to know that the ingredients are resourced through fair trade and ethical treatment of those producing them.
There is even a Buy Canadian app. Now available on iOS and Android as well as Amazon Kindle. just search Buy Canadian and it will be right at the top.
I hope you find this site useful. If so please pass it on to your friends, colleagues, and family.
If you know of a made in Canada product that is not listed on this site, please do not hesitate to contact me so that I can add it to the list I am so proud of. In addition, the economy is changing all the time. If you see a product, brand or store listed on this site that is no longer all Canadian or the link is broken, please let me know so I can make the adjustments.
I am a publishing partner with Google Adsense and display ads to monetize this site in order to pay for the super fast hosting and space needed for such a site, and of course the time spent on research and updates. The ads placed by Google Adsense may or may not be for products made in Canada.
